Rumen-protected fats prevent free fatty acids from interfering with fiber-digesting microbes in the rumen. By maintaining cellulolytic activity, forage is broken down efficiently, supporting stable feed intake and overall milk production.
Consistent milk fat
Unprotected unsaturated fats can create biohydrogenation intermediates (e.g., trans-10, cis-12 CLA) that inhibit milk fat synthesis. Calcium soaps and hardened fats reduce these inhibitors, helping maintain consistent milk fat levels in high-yielding cows.

- Improves fat content in milk with typically 0,3 %-units
